2013 Chowder and Stuffie Cook-off
The 9th annual Chowder Cook-off was a success once again. For the 2nd year, the event included both chowder and stuffies. This year was the closest competition yet with First Place Chowder bragging rights going to team “Mary and Don” and a TIE for First Place Stuffie bragging rights going to team “Tracey and Nik” and team “Don and Mary”.
Thank you all for attending and helping support the PIA. Your donations make all the difference. For those of you who didn’t earn bragging rights…..try again next year.
The Annual PIA Game Dinner was held on November 2. For the 5th year in a row, Ray Gaudreau lent his expertise as Master Chef with the help of his Sous-chef, Jim Lyons. Together, they cooked and prepped for 4 days prior to the event and produced an amazing 8-course meal consisting of game meat that was primarily donated. It was a fabulous near sold-out afternoon of food and camaraderie.
